Baseball analyst Kevin Hennessy shares his thoughts about rumors that Minnesota Twins Manager Tom Kelly may not continue in his role next year. Hennessy sees hope in the team’s roster and near future. He thinks Kelly is a strong manger to have for any upswing.
Kelly is completing his 14th full season as Minnesota's manager. His contract expires after this season and so far, Twins management hasn't told him whether they'll renew it with him. Kelly suggested to the St. Paul Pioneer Press yesterday that given the circumstances, he might reject an offer anyway. Under Kelly, the Twins have won two World Series, but they've also had eight straight losing seasons.
