April 14, 1970 - Garrison Keillor hosts The Morning Program with skits on lawn care and sex tips. The newscast includes the Apollo 13 moon expedition news, which had a problem explosion and includes Mission Control actualities, including the famous "Houston, we've had a problem."
November 1, 1970 - A report by John Keefe on the Cedar-Riverside and urban renewal project. Includes various interviews with local residents.
September 1, 1971 - Roberto Rossellini, Italian film director and screenwriter, is interviewed by James Blue and Al Milgrom at University of Minnesota event. Rossellini also answers audience questions. Mr. Rossellini was one of the directors of the neorealist film movement.
January 1, 1972 - MPR’s Marvin Granger and author/journalist Gerald Vizenor discuss the case of Thomas Whitehawk, and the civil right issues of Native Americans in the U.S. court system.
March 26, 1972 - MPR’s Paul Gruckow talks with Robert Tennessen about mass transit.
May 1, 1972 - MPR’s Dulcie Lawrence takes the day to visit the Lyndale Farmer’s Market. Lawrence talks with both vendors and customers to get a sense of this harbinger of spring for those in the Twin Cities.
May 1, 1972 - MPR’s Paul Gruchow interviews Father Larry Gavin, of Wilmont Minneosta, about his sexuality and his vow of celibacy.
May 16, 1972 - MPR’s Paul Gruchow reports on University of Minnesota faculty and student representatives of group against President Nixon’s Vietnam War policy meeting with congressmen in Washington D.C. The protest delegation asked politicians about their positions.
