The announcement of a late October special legislative session on a new Twins stadium puts pressure on the members of a special stadium task force, which is trying to come up with a politically-acceptable financing package to present to the Legislature. But the real time crunch may be on the Twins. Many legislators say they may vote against the package because they don't believe the Twins will leave Minnesota if they don't get the stadium.
