MPR’s Chris Roberts interviews local singer/songwriter Stuart Davis on his unique holiday show, “Break from the Relatives.”

Nothing is sacred enough to escape the biting edge of Stuart Davis' lyrics. Over the course of his career, Davis has lampooned the chemical treatment industry, written a scathing indictment of his homogenous hometown of Lakeville, and crooned about a fantasy relationship with a barbie blow-up doll. On Christmas evening, at The Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis, Davis will perform what he considers a public service.
