HOST: Finally this hour, the last two shows we've had, we've ended with renditions of the song "Purple Rain," as tributes continue to pour in over the death of Prince. And it looks like we're going to continue that streak today. Minnesota lawmakers yesterday offered their thoughts, and representative Peggy Flanagan of Saint Louis Park, who was just on this show last Thursday, performed "Purple Rain" on the floor of the Minnesota House. She's also performed songs like the national anthem at Vikings games before. Here she is with State Representative Mike Freiberg playing keyboard.

PEGGY FLANAGAN: (SINGING) To see you bathing in the purple rain I never wanted to be your weekend lover I only wanted to be some kind of friend Yeah

HOST: On other news note, if you go to mprnews.org, news story, Prince's sister, in court documents, says the musician had no known will. And she has filed paperwork asking a Minneapolis court to appoint a special administrator to oversee his estate. That story at mprnews.org.

PEGGY FLANAGAN: (SINGING) Purple rain, purple rain
