Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle was among those remembering Paul Wellstone, his wife and his daughter at a memorial service held at a Washington DC synagoguee last night.

About a thousand people gathered at Washington Hebrew Congregation to mourn the deaths of the Wellstone's. Chief of Staff Colin McGinnis like the beer called Wellsone a teacher, a friend, a mentor and a confidant. "To those who worked with him, he was not only a wonderful boss but a colleague, a coach, a fellow plotter. He was a lion hearted leader and so was Sheila." Wellstone's sons Mark and David also spoke at last night's memorial as did Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschel who called Wellsone the sole of the Senate.
