Hunters near Ely have killed a black bear researchers called "Whiteheart." The bear gained fame last winter when a video camera broadcast pictures from her den. Although the kill was legal, the man who shot the bear says he's sorry, and he's sworn off any more bear hunting. But field biologists say MOST bears with radio collars get bagged by hunters ... and they say that's part of the plan. Minnesota Public Radio's Chris Julin reports from Duluth.
