April 28, 2003 - The Minnesota House and Senate are expected to pass all of their budget bills this week. The two chambers are likely to approve significantly different budget plans, and will then have to resolve their differences in the next couple of weeks. They are wrestling with a projected 4.2 billion dollar deficit over the next biennium. Joining us now for a look at the week ahead is Minnesota Public Radio's Capitol Bureau Chief Laura McCallum.
April 28, 2003 - The series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers is now tied at two games apiece after the Lakers beat the T-Wolves 102 to 97 yesterday afternoon in L.A. April 25, 2003 - It's been six months since Senator Paul Wellstone died in a plane crash... and many of his former campaign workers and senate staffers are carrying on his work. The crash near Eveleth killed Senator Wellstone... his wife Sheila... his daughter Marcia... 3 campaign workers and the 2 pilots. For Wellstone supporters... many of the past six months have been spent mourning ALL those who died.
