January 25, 2005 - MPR’s Jeff Horwich talks with classical music host Brian Newhouse about Osmo Vanska and the Lhatki Symphony Orchestra, which is performing at Orchestra Hall. Vanska pulls off a musical feat, as he is both music director for the Minnesota Orchestra and Lhatki’s chief conductor.
July 17, 2003 - Dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov will perform at the Historic Pantages Theater in downtown Minneapolis for a sold-out performance entitled "Solos with Piano or Not…" It features the 55-year-old Baryshnikov dancing on stage alone. He'll be accompanied though, by pianist Koji Attwood, a student at the Juilliard School in New York.

October 9, 2000 - A new MPR special called "A Common Place." In this edition, a cancer researcher who is an orthodox Jew, a computer scientist who is a theologian, and a Buddhist monk explores what it means to be human.
September 1, 2000 - "A Common Place", a documentary about work, meaning, and purpose.
March 20, 1984 - During intermission of Festival of American Orchestras Concert, the first collaborative performance between Minnesota Orchestra and The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, MPR’s Brian Newhouse presents a historical overview of the two orchestras and interviews members the both organizations.
