Sharon Isbin is an acclaimed American classical guitarist, educator, and performer.

Born in Minneapolis, Isbin started playing guitar at a young age, culminating in music study overseas and a degree from Yale. She has become a prolific award-winning recording and performance artist. She also has been a long career as an educator at Julliard, developing numerous programs, as well as director of the Guitar Department at the Aspen Music Festival.
